FOOD PRAYER

“Bless this food to our use, and us to thy service.

For every cup and plateful, God make us truly grateful”

Sathya Sai education encourages the value of non-violence, healthy living and well being of the child by promoting vegetarian food. Hence all food brought on campus must be vegetarian. Children can opt for School Dinners or bring a packed lunch.
Pupils are encouraged to eat fruits during breaks and drink plenty of water during the day. Pupils are encouraged not to eat ‘junk’ food, like crisps, chocolate, biscuits etc or drink fizzy drinks in school time.
School dinners are available daily: a choice of English Vegetarian or Indian Vegetarian is available. Parents have to place orders on a monthly basis.

Children recite the food prayer before eating and are encouraged to eat in silence.

Hot vegetarian school meals will be available in the near future
